friday evening, the rossell family came out for some grillin' and swimmin' as we all attempted to recover from the trecherous veggie burger fire of 2006.
saturday morning we drove down to ohio to celebrate our niece kathryn's first birthday party. we all had fun despite it being 95* and an outdoor party.
after the cake (yum, cake) we drove up to cleveland rocks to stay with our friends suzy & matt where we were *finally* able to relax. kylinn found a great playfriend in matt and it was so nice for us to have some rare adult conversation. even if we were watching finding nemo.
after arriving home late in the afternoon on sunday, we did some much needed yardwork and crashed. you never appreciate your own bed until you're away from it. don't get me wrong, suzy & matt's guest bed was by far the most comfortable bed i've slept in away from home, but it wasn't mine. ahh. my bed.
so why no updates? probably because summer is a crazy busy time for us and, oh yeah... wednesday evening we found out that our natural disaster has returned with a vengeance.
