we spent this new years eve at the rossell family's annual party. kylinn thought it was absolutely fantastic to play with caeden (6m) cameron (3.5y) bowen and luke (both 3-ish). we thought it was absolutely fantastic to hang out with other adults.
as erica and i frantically prepped for the countdown, the kids watched lion king. once everything was set and we were ready to toast, the movie was paused causing tons of drama... 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! and only seconds later... "can we watch lion king?" was said again, and again, and again.
