what an adventure to see this little one! we attempted to drive down to cleveland saturday morning, which is not completly nuts as it is only a few hours away. we had fully intended to meet up with the brewers that night for jacq's birthday party (i'm so sorry- we wanted to badly!). seven hours later we finally arrived! for those of you in michigan, please avoid the stretch of I-75 from downriver to the ohio border like the plaque. do not even think for a fleeting moment that it may not be bad. i will not go into great detail, but i will tell you that it has caused me to hate ohio even more.
on a better note, kate and her parents were beautiful and happy as can be. we were the only visitors for a couple hours and had the opportunity to snap some cute photos. ky, on the other hand had gone crazy and now screams when she sees the car. i suppose eleven hours in a car will do that to you...
