and furthermore...

last night adam and i were talking about the celebrities that used to appear on "the new scooby doo movies" that ran (and re-ran) throughout the early seventies and eighties. among jonathan winters and sandy duncan, i also remember phyllis diller, the harlem globetrotters and don knotts making regular appearances. adam recalled the three stooges and adam west, and was insisting that there was black comedian who also regularly appeared as well, though i cannot figure out who this may have been. and i think there was an episode or two with the monkees.

anyway, can anyone add to the list?

and here's a little trivia for you: casey kasem was the voice of shaggy.

hhhmmm interesting. it is all coming back to me now. i remember the globe trotter, and the monkees. i'll have to think about who else.
Speaking of The monkees, I used to LOVE their t.v. show. It was on the same time as Double Dare, so I would always have to compromise alternate with my sisters!

The Aadams Family
Batman and Robin
Josie and the Pussycats

I must have been in the kitchen fixing dinner! But unfortunately Brittan, I know ALL those people! And Sarah, I think it probably was Nipsy Russel. He did the game show circuit too.
