why am i always so exhausted on mondays?

man alive!

so let's play catch-up.

i realized that i have lost yet another friend to the plagued minivan club. it's funny, because just last week another friend (erica) asked when i was going to get a minivan. when i replied, "never" she laughed and said, "you should, you would love it." "my car is paid off, " i replied, "besides, i would rather be squished and happy than drive a minivan and feel like a soccer-transporter." then the aforementioned friend drove through my lane sporting a new sleek black model. "NEVER!!!" i shouted again and laughed a most wicked laugh.

friday, i became incredibly sick with a blood infection and spent the weekend in the most pain of my entire life. yes, far worse than transition. if i could have had an epidural, i would have. thanks to a quick antibiotic & steroid cocktail, i am now 85% fine. however, the fact that tegan is becoming a lively little thing, and kylinn has an incessant need to be outside is killing me.

saturday, we began staining our deck and enjoying the warm weather ending with telescoping & bonfire-ing with the neighbors. having thoroughly stinkified my clothes with the smoke, i decided to toss them in the wash as soon as i got inside. never one to check the pockets, i also managed to send my cell phone through an entire wash cycle (yep, jeremy... you're not the only dope!) i must confess to saying a whole lot more than just "oh snap" though. after two days of drying, it is working (wowzer!) though the camera is still a bit hazy.

sunday, we spent out and about at oakland mall (reasonable explanation and photos forthcoming) and enjoying a bit of desperate housewives (live and on television). the big weekend finale? my magnolia is now in full bloom.

which leads me to today. and i am now exhausted.

How did I just talk to you yesterday and NONE of that came up?!?! Hope things have calmed down now.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could just explain all that to Kylinn & Tegan and have them understand and go easy on you???

well, i didn't exactly run after them. i slept on the couch covered in icepacks and let kylinn destroy the living room until adam got home.

and why didn't i mention it? i don't know. i guess yesterday, let alone friday, was already over and i was trying to deal with whatever present crisis had arose?

i was wondering if you would figure out that i was talking about you, mrs kane, cruising along in your minivan sipping on a mcnasty. haha.

actually, yet another friend came over (cc) today laughing the entire time that she too had just got a friggin' minivan.

SERIOUSLY! WHAT GIVES??? i can't do it. i just cannot do it. no way. no how. and no amount of cool features will make me do it.

did i mention i was able to get a twin boxspring and mattress in there?

never say never, my dear. i did, and now i have a flip down dvd and stow and go seating.

i am not ashamed to admit that i love it....and black was the coolest of all the choices, don't you think?
