elmo makes music

yesterday we drove up to saginaw to see elmo makes music with the ross family. it was so nice because it was a small venue, and our sixth-row seats cost lest than parking and nachos would have been at the fox. kylinn and josh were spellbound by all of the characters singing and dancing right in-front of them.

the best part? telly monster grabbed me out of my seat and made me dance with him. i was the only person in the place that had to do this, and my daughter was thrilled. she said, "you danced with telly, mommy?" for most of the day. runner up: bert danced to stayin'' alive in a white polyester suit and said, "you like this suit? it's rented!"

the worst part? mr noodle was actually an african-american man in his late 20's. elmo said, "this is mr. noodle's other brother." literally. his words, not mine. runner up: "jenny the music teacher" had some serious vpl's which made me rather nauseous.

aside from the fact that sarah and i both wore black shirts and jeans, adam and nate wore brown shirts and jeans and both of our kids had on overalls we had a great time.
