saturday night fever

saturday afternoon, we went out to the bordines spring expo. it was so refreshing to see all of the flowers, despite the massive crowds. although the petting farm was cancelled, they had climbers and plenty of kid activities while we shopped and talked to the different vendors about our latest feat... organic gardening and lawn care.
saturday evening we attended adam's ceremony for the general motors service challenge. he has won this mark of excellence award for several years in a row now, so now i kind of expect it. it really is a big deal, though- i can't tell you all of the requirements, but the basics are that his certifications, testing scores and customer feedback are in the top fifth percentile. (so yes, he's probably better than jim-bob who works on your car over in hooterville) and you should congratulate adam the next time that you see him. he would be quite surprised and definitely flattered.
