boy, he's just doing some really impressive things to help the city of detroit, isn't he?
some of his latest brainstorms include closing down belle isle aquarium at the end of march due to budget issues. the recently founded group of supporters, friends of belle isle aquarium, need to raise $500,000.00 by march 3, 2005. please make a donation to save this 101 year old exhibit at belleisleaquarium.com or go visit it asap. don't worry, the gangsters, thugs and the "notorious navigator" are not there in the winter.
kilpatrick is also going to cancel this years summer jazz festival. more information to follow. so in the meantime, go hang out in the city. campus martius park is microscopic, but our new hard rock cafe is cool.
