ky: gramma, why did you sleep over?
gramma: because there were big storms.
me: did you sleep well?
gramma: yeah, because i didn't have to lay in bed and wonder if i should lay on the floor instead.
ky: why would you lay on the floor?
me: gramma has a "michigan basement" she would have to go outside to her basement when it storms.
ky: oh. we just go downstairs and watch tv.
