i actually received a very cheery call from erica today. mr starkey has been transferred over to u of m hospital. though he is still in the i.c.u. (46 days and counting) they are excited to try out some brand new machines and advanced medical techniques to help increase his oxygen levels.
prognosis: good.
and over at mott, another little baby boy from my old playgroup just completed heart surgery yesterday with the same world famous surgeon who did my neighbor alex's surgeries, and he looks like he's going to be just perfect as well. and if that little boy is anything like little alex, then world- just watch out!

The home of "rock stars Dr Bove, Dr Green, Dr Shanley, and tons of others! When others say no, U-M says "We will try." Many of the doctors there are the most humble people you would ever meet. I love them all! But, believe it or not, Alex does get quiet there!
