my million dollar cat

here's my bina, not even 12 hours after surgery. she's happy, healthy and surprisingly mobile. she even slept with us last night, and purrs every time we look at her. she is obvously more than happy to be home. that was some of the longest four days of my life. the grand total? $967.75. was it worth it? absolutely. perhaps our ethics got in the way, but we did have an agreement at a specific number not to continue treatment. $1,000 might seem excessive, especially to all of the cat-haters in the world, but bina plays an important role in our family. aside from being our very friendly and "snuggley cat", she is also the inseparable sister to asha, and most importantly, kylinn and tegan's pet. we may have to budget for a while, but life at home has almost resumed to normal. that's what is really worth it all.

bina received an external fixator and five pins in her three-hour surgery. she should be totally normal in 45 days.

poor bina, she should hang out with Josh, they seem to be equally clumsy.

i'm laughing at daedra's comment...

if lincoln ever did something like that, he would have to walk it off! there are no funds around here for such things.

glad she's home though and everything is good! :)

wow...look at those pins! you don't have to justify what you spent. we haven't had a pet in a while, but when we did, we knew we would have done what you did. they are family...
