so where the hell have i been?

well for starters, extremely busy doing nothing in particular.

*my grandparents have sold their home in florida and are moving "home" july 3rd. because of this, we are enslaved to my mother to get everything in order. in addition to coordinating their arrival, my aunt & cousins from LA are flying in to celebrate and vacationing for a couple of weeks.

*my google contract has ended so for the first time in seventeen months, i am finding myself enjoying some free time away from the computer. with ten "extra" hours a week, i have been using the time to take on some major household projects (including cleaning out the playroom in the basement) and craigslisting any unnecessary objects. though i may miss the measly paycheck for a while, i am realizing that it was really impeding my efforts as a mother.

*i joined a yoga class with nicol. i haven't done yoga in years (well, basically since i discovered pilates) but i am totally addicted. the class is one hour each week and i find myself craving it after a day or so. nicol and i are having a blast and are totally enjoying the "me" time. i had no idea how apparent my stress is, and i don't think i'll ever walk away from yoga again.

*i've opened up a little shop on etsy. for now, it's just tutu's and super hero capes, but i had my first sale within two days of the shop opening. i need to work on some more product and cleaning up some of my images. you can check it out at george & freddie. look in the "sold" section to see my littlest tutu. don't laugh at tegan- i need some female models!

the bottom line, is that i have not walked away from my blog. i just needed to stay off of the computer for a while. i'll pop in again shortly, i have several cameras full of photos waiting for you.
