i think i can...
i ran 2.1 miles today in under 14 minutes per mile. (i wasn't really paying attention because i was rockin' it to my ipod). not too bad for an asthmatic who refuses to sweat. perhaps good old regina spektor will help me in the zoo run this sunday.

good for you! it's cool that you are doing this.
and you were making fun of me for running so slow during our last camping trip. HA! my slowest, for another woman who hates to sweat, was 10 minute miles.
but seriously, you are super cool for doing this, and for starting to run. my boobs won't let me currently. no matter how slow. and really, i don't kow if i really want to either.
dude, running plus breastfeeding, you can have what, like 8000 calories a day?
i ran 10 minute miles in high school and i don't intend on doing that again as i'm not looking for speed.
i'm working on endurance right now- never stopping and never walking so i'm very proud of what i've done. i ran non-stop for almost one half hour and that's really impressive for me because i kept a solid pace. i'd like to run the 5K with 12 minute splits.
i've always been a sprinter- both track and swimming. i can outrun almost anyone for speed in short distance, but i have little endurance. finally, that is something i am working on.
regardless, i still eat around 2000 calories every day. and i need to keep up with the pilates because i'm losing muscle tone.
well im proud of you too. and i have never been fast at anything. i'm a slo mo schmo.
you? running? i truely am amazed and impressed. I feel accomplished if i walk thr three miles around the lake by my house once a month.... I hope you sang the I hate trucks song the whole way :)
i DO sing "I Hate Trucks (track!)"
I usually run at a 4/4 pace!
