open letter a la jeremy...

Dear Land Arc,
Today I received an email requesting my participation in a survey regarding my satisfaction with your company. It is extremely unfortunate that I personally received this survey, because I am extremely unsatisfied with your company thus far.
I fear that said survey will be a repeat of Saab of Troy Survey 2002 where I am going give less than satisfactory scores because, well, let's face it... YOU SUCK!
Quit screwing with my money. I give you hundreds of dollars every year to make my neighborhood pretty & functioning well and instead you create useless web accounts, form letters and national mailings. Full-color print is expensive- is it really necessary to send a letter about the importance of being a responsible dog owner when most of us don't have dogs? Quit sending ten repairmen to do a one-person job. Quit allowing the nasty people smoke & drink at our family pool. Quit enabling random people to hope the fence, or better yet- walk through the broken gate into our pool. And fix my damn lane that you've said would be completed when the weather got nice. It' been nice for four months.
Better yet, don't answer the phone when I call. You probably don't want to hear what I have to say.
Sincerely,
Meagan Vanover

hey, my actual response (via the email survey) did actually look a bit like your open letter. our association sucks...so, why not let them know just how much?

They suck.

Seriously, I was talking to a financial advisor recently who asked me if I really paid $600/year in association fees. I said yes, and they replied, "That's absolutely ridiculous."

I couldn't even justify the costs, because in the 4 years I've lived here, they have done JACK SHIT for us. Case in point, the dump that used to be next door. Nothing ever came of that, even after 3 months of letter writing and filing complaints.

And HOLD THE PHONE - Paul and Nicol are moving into the hood?

AWESOME!

okay, okay, you guys have NO idea how bad an association can be until you've lived in our condo complex.

There is not enough time to tell you how bad ... we pay GULP $242/month!!!!

it is horrible. we don't have a pool, or any playing fields, etc.
