thanks. it's my first bouquet of the year. i didn't want to cut down my tulips & daffodils, but i'm planning on planting about 200 bulbs this fall, so next year-- watch out! i'll have spring bouquets coming out my whazoo!

i'm so jealous. emmie got my lemon daisies and so i took the chewed off ones and stuck them in a vase. the only other cut flowers i have are the dianthus in a small water glass, and the mint for mojitos (but this year the mint is not as potent.)

Yeah. I share in the jealousy. None of the flowers pre-planted here bloomed enough for vases. However, Kathryn and I have plans to visit the apartment shortly and see what's growing of mine. I planted a lot when we moved last summer. Transplanted, mostly. I'm not sure what came back this year, but we need to go find out so we can bring it to our new place!

don't be jealous, rachelle. that is one of the main reasons that we don't have a dog. the top reason is the time factor, but second is the fact that we want a clean, green yard with lots of flowers and no poop.

and lindsay, the majority of my garden blooms in mid-june. tons of varieties of flowers come up then, so i'm sure yours will too.
