weird science, baby 1985
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090305/

nicol doesn't always get our mysteries either because we are apparently too old, gray and senile.

oh man. do you even know what a record is? ask your mom. haha.

so if you are too old... than what am i? and i don't even get some of the mysteries. but i did watch weird science, i just don't remember many of the lines unless it's a disney or pixar movie.

hey man, my mystery questions are equal opportunity. it's fair game for all age groups. though my readers ages range several decades, i would estimate the average age to be 27/28. i could survey that, but why bother.

the first question was from 'play with me sesame' which is currently on the air. i suppose you need a kid to watch it, but it is on all the freakin' time. your time will come. one day you will know more wiggles songs than radio chart-toppers, but hey. such is life.

question two is a line from neil diamond's 1962 release of "solitary man." no age excuses here. you haven't lived unless you know neil.

question three is a song that regularly aired on the radio and mtv last summer. click on the link to watch the video. you just have to be cool to know that one, i guess. even my two year old sings that. and we're working on the dance...

question four was a quote from chet in weird science. i'll confess that it was one of my favorite movies, but it also was on tbs a lot which is why my sister's response was "stinkweed" that was a lousy dubbed over voice to hide a swear word. you might just have to be a nerd to know that one, but we watched the tv version a lot.

so there. get hip. or google, your choice.
