did you ever see that movie "mr holland's opus?" it was about a music teacher with a deaf son and he used to sing and sign this song to his son.i was in high school when the film came out and i decided that if i ever had a boy, that i would sing this song to him, too. in fact, when i was pregnant with kylinn, i used to sing this song to her (oops!) in the shower.
i love john lennon, though. if we ever had a 'julian' i was going to sing that baby "julia"
