potty party time

kylinn has napped in panties all week and even woke up with dry night-time diapers for the past five mornings. because of this, we took her out shopping to a "big girl store" to buy new panties and then to build-a-bear. after dealing with the massive crowds and multiple meltdowns due to a lack of understanding that we must wait in line and cannot just push in front of the kid using the stuffing machine, we made this bear:
his name is ,",L.P[ (or just LP) who wears her own special panties that "she can't go pee-pee in."

do you have to use the word "panties" so much?

sorry. brittan hates that word too. if you had a girl, you would say it too.

i'm so in a panties/potty training mindset that i also asked logan if he was wearing panties now. then i corrected myself because (hopefully) boys do not wear panties.

do they make toddler boxer briefs???

i think they are more like whitey-tidies with pictures of trains on them to start them off thinking their unit is like a big train....

we checked on the boxers, but couldn't find them anywhere.

We just call it "underwear" - we've got the typical variety: Diego, Wiggles, Cars, Nemo, typical boy stuff.

He's been doing great lately, but we're still not sure on the overnight quite yet - but he is in BBU (Big Boy Underwear) all day now.
