and for that matter, i think i'm going to purchase the medela breastpump in style (not backpack version but the one that is on myregistry...backpack wasn't available when i registered)

as far as the pump goes, there's no difference between the pis regular and the backpack version except the picture on the box shows three women standing around and talking with their backpack pumps on. apparently, if you want to be cool, you just put on your pis backpack and walk around and meet other moms. i haven't just worn mine out in public, but i'm certain that if i did all of the other moms with pis backpacks would flock to me.

well, i supposed if people really want to go out in public with your pis backpack that is their perogative. i wonder if those women also pump in style together at a park. that would be a funny site.

definately on the metro. when i was in nyc last year, there was an entire car of women with those pumps on the metro. they wouldn't let me join them because i had the backpack version. they said, "um, like, don't you know that one is for the park???"

i felt like a total ass.

they will probably look at my original in the square lunchbox looking one and say "where you from, kentucky?"

how can you show your face, let alone your boobs? omg...
