lunch with just ky and i

yesterday, ky and i ventured out to meijer. i rarely go to meijer because the mere thought of the chaos sends me into a panic attack. i usually do my grocery shopping at kroger, but they have move free advanced buy-one-get-one-free this week, so i had no choice. apparently, it's not all just senior citizens that take glucosamine and chondroitin... it's runners, too.

so i went shopping and for the second time this week (!) i had to return back home for my wallet. after finally getting to the store, and heading to the checkout... it started to rain. no, scratch that- it started to pour. we decided to instead stop and have lunch at the meijer cafeteria. it was a bit odd. kylinn, me, a bunch of meijer employees, a bunch of senior citizens and a few random moms bribing their kids with ice cream. and then us. eating a hot dog, fries and a grilled cheese sandwich. we happily shared a cup of pink lemonade. we talked about the ceiling, about the lights, she laughed at the rain. and i just sat there are realized how much i loved her and was enjoying her company. just ky and i and a wonderful afternoon. at meijer.
