my darling husband is a creature of habit. a man of order and consistency. a man who eats an "everything" bagel with garden vegetable cream cheese on a daily basis. (well, almost daily. on the weekends he usually eats leftover pizza or chips & salsa at 7:00 am, and anytime that i miscount on the inventory and he is forced to eat something else... like yesterday morning.)
"what the hell did i eat today?" he asks politely when he arrived home.
"what do you mean?" i ask.
"what was wrong with my bagel?" he questions.
"did you like it? it was my wheat bagel. i thought you'd like it." i say, assuming that he did not.
"no. it was messed up." he laments, "why was it so small?" he asks worriedly.
"because it was a mini bagel. i eat them every day. i'll buy more of your bagels for tomorrow."
now you must realize, that i can (and do) get away with many subtle changes- such as switching his cream cheese to light garden vegetable spread without him noticing (or at least, complaining). but really, i'm just waiting for him to tell me that it's slimier and has fewer green vegetables in it (are green vegetables less healthy or something?
oh man. my darling husband.

I don't see the problem ... he ate chinese food with Paul yesterday! So the wheat bagel, was more of an appitizer :)
for the record, it was thai.
i won't comment on your spelling but rather assume it was a typo.
ciao, baby.
well, you can tell who is related. andy eats chips and salsa for breakfast lunch dinner appetizers and dessert. i too switch out things quietly, like tellling him it was "fresh basil" and not "spinach" in the stuffed pasta shells.
