we just got back from an amazing week in vancouver. sarah & nate finished the 26.2 mile marathon in 5.5 hours in the rain. it was truly amazing to see.
we were able to meet them at a few different locations along the way and passed josh to them at the finish line, so they all finished together.
we taught ky to say "vanover on vacation in vancouver." what a cutie. i'll try to get an audio post up tomorrow so you all can hear her.
vancouver is beautiful and totally laid back. it was unlike any city that i've ever been to. they actually have a ton of kid-friendly places and um, very (shall i say?) liberal places for the adult folk, too.
one of our trip highlights was that our great hometown friend sarah was able to come up from washington state to spend some time with us.
it was a great time. (long, but still great) and i'll definitely go back there some day so i can do some necessary hiking and skiing. and sarah mclachlan stalking.
