a few months ago former reader attempted to insult me and my "pseudointellectual blog" during a falling-out of sorts. i can't remember much else of the content (was there really any content at all?), but when i was slammed with the words "pseudointellectual" i just had to laugh.
you all know me. i am not an intellectual. i am not a pseudo. and i am most certainly not a pseudointellectual.
remember last month when i said that i was receiving tons of hits for post about the doodlebops? well folks, i am pleased to say that the number one post of the month are the helen keller jokes. how is that for pseudointellect?
here's a case in point: two of my best friends went to boston university. bu is right in the middle of snooty-smartville boston with harvard, mit, and 9.2 billion other smartville colleges. for far too many times i would fly my small-town butt out to beantown to see them and their smarty smart friends. i have spent hours trying to fake being awake to listen to a theoretical discussion, a debate on the importance of bluetooth technology, ot just sleeping through lectures that cost $950 per day, whatever... if i'm on vacation i'm going to think even less than i normally do. ahh, boston. love the city, hate the smarts.
now throw in a fart joke and a cosmo and we'll talk.
