To: Detroit City Council
Due to Detroit's financial situation, there has been word about the Detroit Zoo shutting its doors. The Detroit Zoo has been an asset to the community and a jewel to the city. It has brought in over 1 million visitors annually and houses a variety of animals. We, as the public, need to let the Detroit city council be aware of the zoo's importance and cannot let the Detroit zoo close.

I am glad that you put this up. I got the email that was sent around, but I don't generaly trust them. So I deleated it.
