meet bailey, the eight-year old lab/rott mix that we are dog-sitting while my mom is on vacation. although she is terribly clumsy, she is well-behaved and loves kylinn. and before you ask, the kitties are fine. infact, bina is the boss of the house and does not put up with the dog soing anything that she doesn't like.
kylinn's new buddy

your cats totally beat on emmie. but she wasn't offended. i wonder what they would be like now that emmie is a 74 pound love to chase cats big oaf.
although ky and kathryn beat emmie up pretty bad so i think that your cats still might.
bina is a tough little sucker. she cornered lincoln for a while. this picture of bailey was from two summers ago. bailey was probably 80-85 pounds. bina in comparison, is 8 and clawless.
bina won.
sadly, emmie, dear dog, is no longer welcome here. she ate far too many of my christmas ornaments.
i never heard of the ornament eating escapades. oh well, she's worn out her welcome at most peoples houses. it's either house sitter here or camp bowwow.
poor emmie. she got into a lot of trouble here. she pulled all of my mercury glass ornaments off of the bottom third of my tree and broke several of them. i still have a glass robot that i put up though his feet are missing and is a terrible safety hazard. i'm still not ready to part with him.
did she ingest mercury? cool, then i can say that she is truly an indestructable dog. but also then i would have an excuse for why she's so crazy.
yes. mercury and glass.
we told andy- i remember because he laughed. i'm sorry you didn't know. perhaps she should have gone to the vet 2.5 years ago...
ah. she was fine. but if she ever wants to come over again, we're converting to judaism.
that will go over great with the vanovers.
que sera sera. emmie is truly wonder destruction dog but maybe that is why she was so TAME when we picked her up. we just thought that adam and bina beat her up.
oh, and don't tell andy things. i wonder if he really knows about the danger of mercury. course if you would have told me, i would have freaked, called the vet, researched it on the internet, had a breakdown, and freaked some more.
she didn't ingest mercury. she chomped up some ornaments. i don't think she actually "ate" them, because she was never cut or anything. she'd jump into my tree, grab one, run behind the couch and break it in the process.
regardless, that was 2 1/2 years ago. i think she's just fine.
